Storms have moved over the Tri-State tonight and still will during the rest of this evening. As of 10PM, there was about 2,200 power outages reported. All of those should be turned back on by sunrise. Cold front trigger all of this is moving over the Tri-State tonight and should be out by the sunrise hour. Showers and thunderstorms will still be going on overnight with mostly cloudy skies and lows once again in the low to mid-70s. We will be on the back side of the front during Friday, but you will not notice it that much as highs will still be in the low 90s. We might see a few isolated early morning showers and thunderstorms, but nothing too big. High pressure moves in on Friday Night giving us clear skies and lows in the upper 60s. Saturday, high pressure still over us with sunny skies, but with temps in the low 90s. Sunday until Thursday has highs in the mid-90s. Good news is, a cold front will move over during Tuesday sparking showers and thunderstorms.
Severe Weather Risk
No severe weather for Friday and too early to tell what next will look like. At this time storms are looking to be on the strong side with heavy rainfall, some hail, gusty winds, and lighting. If we do severe weather forecasted, it may not come until late this weekend.
