Some of us around the Illiana area did get rain today, while the rest did not. It will turn hot and sunny until our next chance of rain on Wednesday. Highs for Monday will be in the lower 90s and Tuesday in the mid-90s. Tuesday Night clouds will start to increase ahead of a cold front. The front will then move over during the day on Wednesday. During that time, we will see our rain chances increase to around 40%. Chance of rain again on Thursday and Friday, but lower for both days and a little cooler with highs in the upper 80s to near 90. Saturday and Sunday will be nice, but temps will start to increase again. Sever weather chances for this week will stay low right now. Main threats on Wednesday will be lighting, gusty winds, and heavy downpours. Thursday and Friday staying more on the lighting and gusty winds side. I really do not think we will have a heat wave here this week, but just down to the Tri-State and you will.
