Low pressure over Arkansas this afternoon will move northeast into the lower Ohio Valley early tonight. This will bring more locally heavy rainfall and a few strong thunderstorms to southern portions of the region late this afternoon into the early evening hours. Some flooding concerns may develop over extreme southeast Missouri and western Kentucky if thunderstorms repeat over the same locations late today.
