Evansville WxWarn Forecast for Thursday, October 4, 2012

Clouds will start to increase overnight as a cold front will move more into the Tri-State. I am putting in a small chance of rain, but that will be more towards the sunrise hours. Scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday as the front moves in. I do believe our high for the day will be set before the front moves in. Once the front passes over us, temps will then drop. Our best chance of rain will come Friday Night with chances over 80% and temps reaching the lower 40s. Chance of showers for Saturday both early and late. The early round will be a small chance with the late round being the best chance. Skies will be partly sunny and highs in the upper 50s. The late round will then lead into the overnight hours, mainly south of the Ohio. If you are north of the Ohio, you will have a higher chance of seeing frost. High pressure will be in the Central Plains on Sunday and move our way on Monday. Temps for Sunday in the upper 50s and Monday in the lower 60s. High will be towards the east on Tuesday and winds will shift from the south putting temps in the upper 60s. We do have another chance of rain for Wednesday as a cold front will sweep over us again. I will be watching this as we might have a chance of strong storms.

Tonight: Increasing clouds, isolated shower around sunrise, 54
Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mostly cloudy, 67
Friday Night: Widespread showers and thunderstorms, cloudy, 41
Saturday: Isolated showers, partly sunny, 58

Sunday: Partly to mostly sunny, cool, 58
