After nice day, we will start heading towards cooler temps
and rain. A cold front is starting to push into Central Indiana and Central
Illinois overnight, giving us a chance of rain. I do believe our best chance
will come after the 3AM hour. Our temps on Friday will be lucky to reach the
mid-50s as the front will pass over during the early morning hours. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms during the day under cloudy skies. Friday night will
be one of the coldest with rain and temps staying just above freezing. Rain
should leave early Saturday morning just in time for the Apple Fest to start.
Skies will be clearing but temps still staying in the mid-50s. Cold again for
Saturday Night with lows in the lower to mid-30s with frost being possible in
some locations. High pressure will be in the Central Plains on Sunday and start
heading our way on Monday. Temps for Sunday in the mid-50s again, but heading
towards the lower 60s for Monday. Winds start turning from the south on Tuesday
on the backside of the high and we warm back up to mid-60s. Next chance of rain
on Wednesday as another cold front and trough of low pressure will move in.
I’ll be watching this to see if we might get any strong storms from this.
