We started off the day with frost and temps below 40.
This afternoon we did get back to near 70 and had a prefect fall day.
High pressure has moved out of the area and clouds will be
increasing overnight ahead of a warm front that will move rain into Illiana. Our
best chance of rain will be after the 3AM hour. After that, the rain will be
staying around all day Tuesday and overnight. A cold front will sweep over on
Wednesday giving us another chance of rain. Front should be out of Illiana by
the overnight hours giving us a chance of rain.
Thursday and Friday both looking to be under partly sunny
skies and highs in the low to mid-70s. We do have a chance of rain for Friday
Night as another cold front moves in. The front should leave the area by early
Saturday morning giving way to mostly sunny skies later in the day. Sunday and
Monday looking to be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 70s.
Looking out into voodoo country, the GFS is showing on

week. Some of the thunderstorms could be on the strong side and maybe a few
isolated severe warnings. Main threats are mainly going to be heavy rainfall,
some small hail, and maybe some gusty winds.
